Glory 46: China Opening Odds

Glory 46 emanates from the Guangzhou Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China this Saturday (October 14, 2017). The GLORY SuperFight Series portion of this card will air on UFC Fight Pass at 1 p.m. ET while the main card airs at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN 3. In the main event, middleweight champion Simon Marcus faces Alex Pereira.

Marcus (47-3-2) is riding a three-fight win streak including a split decision victory over Jason Wilnis at Glory 40: Copenhagen in April where he reclaimed middleweight gold. The Canadian fighter has won five of his last six fights. Pereira (36-6) is coming off a knockout victory over Maycon Silva at WGP Kickboxing 40 last month in Brazil. The last time Pereira fought for Glory was in April, where he suffered a unanimous decision setback to Yousri Belgaroui.

On the SuperFight Series portion of the card, Glory Heavyweight Champion Rico Verhoeven faces former UFC title contender Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva. Verhoeven (51-10-1) heads into this matchup on a seven-fight win streak, including notable victories over Errol Zimmerman and Badr Hari. The 28-year-old has only lost once since 2013, amassing a 13-1 record. Silva (19-12-1 MMA) will be making his professional kickboxing debut and hasn’t competed since a second-round knockout loss to Vitaly Minakov at Fight Nights Global 68 in June. “Bigfoot” has gone 1-8 with one No Contest in his last 10-fights and he hasn’t won a fight since August 2015.
