Cub Swanson announced on his Instagram that he’s fighting Brian Ortega in the main event of UFC Fight Night 123 which takes place Dec. 9 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.
Swanson (25-7) heads into this matchup on a four-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision victory over Artem Lobov at UFC Fight Night 108 in April. The 33-year-old hasn’t lost a fight since April 2015 when he was stopped by Max Holloway in third-round at UFC on FOX 15. Ortega (12-0) submitted Renato Moicano at UFC 214 in July which improved his UFC record to 4-0 with one “No Contest.” The 26-year-old has finished all of his UFC fights in the third round.
