”Any fights you’re really looking forward to?” -Tim, Long Island, NY
I’m really looking for the Tony Ferguson vs. Kevin Lee fight coming up. I am a fan of both fighters and am very much interested in seeing how that fight plays out. I am also really looking forward to the main event on the Poland card, which is Donald Cerrone vs. Darren Till. That scrap should be fireworks from start to finish.
”Do you Ngannou being champ?” -Fred Detroit, MI
I assume you’re asking if I SEE him becoming the champ… Well, I think he stands a pretty good shot against Alistair Overeem, and a win there will likely get him the fight against Miocic, who I think he also stands a good chance of defeating. To answer your question; yes, I think those are two winnable matchups for him and I could very well see him becoming the next UFC Heavyweight Champion.
”I’ll be at UFC 216 in Vegas. Will I see you there? Also, what fights on that card are you most looking forward to?“ -Frankie, Scottsdale, AZ
It’s not 100% but I sure am planning on it! I am looking forward to the aforementioned Ferguson vs. Lee fight, but besides that, there aren’t many fights I am thrilled about seeing. Yes, there are a lot of fighters competing on the card who I am a fan of and am looking forward to seeing, however I just don’t quite like their matchups. Magomed Bibulatov is 14-0 as a pro and 1-0 in the UFC; he will be taking on John Moraga, which is a big test for him. That is a matchup I will be interested in. Tom Duequesnoy vs. Cody Stamman is another battle between two surging featherweight prospects that I don’t plan on missing. Then there’s of course the Fabricio Werdum vs. Derrick Lewis matchup, and nothing needs to be said about that one, as it speaks for itself.
