ACB 70 Opening Betting Odds

ACB 70 emanates at the Horseshoe Casino from the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England on Saturday (September 23rd, 2017) at 12 p.m. (ET) live on FITE TV. A pair of UFC veterans headline the card as Scott Askham battles Luke Barnatt in a middleweight affair.

Askham (14-4) heads into this matchup coming off two-straight losses to Jack Hermansson and Brad Scott while competing for the first time since his UFC release. The 29-year-old looks for his first win since February 2016. Barnatt (13-4) rebounded from his loss to Mamed Khalidov with a first-round knockout over Max Nunes at ACB 63 in July. “The Bigslow” has won five of his last six fights since he was released from the UFC in 2015.

In the co-main event, Ibragim Chuzhigaev looks to bounce back from his loss to Vyacheslav Vasilevsky at ACB 57 when he takes on American Will Noland. Prior to the setback, Chuzhigaev (9-5) was on a five-fight win streak, with four of those victories coming by stoppage. Noland (17-7) is also coming off loss to Vasilevsky at ACB 65 which snapped his three-fight win streak. The longtime King of the Cage veteran hasn’t gone the distance in a fight since August 2015.

Adam “Primetime” Townsend ended his short retirement to face Husein Kushagov on the main card. Townsend (17-4) is riding a three-fight win streak and has won 11 of his last 12 fights. The 28-year-old has also finished 9 of his last 12 opponents. Kushagov (6-3) is 2-2 in his last four fights including a unanimous decision victory over Roberto Neves. The Fight Club Berkut product competes outside Russia for the first time in his career.

Bellator veteran Bubba Jenkins looks to snap a two-fight skid when he battles Diego Marlon in a featherweight affair. Jenkins (11-4) dropped his ACB debut to Ali Bagov at ACB 64 in March and was submitted for just the second-time in his career. The 29-year-old has never lost three-straight fights. Marlon (26-10) has lost two of his last three fights including a TKO loss to Maharbek Karginov in November. The 32-year-old competes for the first time this year as was slated to face UFC veteran Walel Watson at Brave CF 3 in March before the fight got cancelled.
