Bellator is back with Bellator 183: Henderson vs. Pitbull live this Satuday night from San Jose, CA. Main card action for this fight card will get going on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are made available at Several Bookmakers.

Here are my plays:

Welterweight bout: Lorenz Larkin (-260) vs. Paul Daley (+220)

Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Larkin is the superior mixed martial artist of the two heading into this 170-pound matchup and I expect him to keep it standing and beat the Brit at his own game. I expect Larkin to run through Daley, similar to how he did Santiago Ponzinibbio in the UFC. Daley is always a knockout threat on the feet, so Larkin will need to be cautious, but as long as he can avoid that fight ending blow, I think this is his fight to lose. I think he is worth playing at -260, but I also think the Total of Under 2.5 rounds at +100 is worth playing, as I see this fight ending within two rounds more often than not. Whether Larkin gets the job done or gets caught, I don’t think this fight hits the cards, especially considering that I think he will be going in there looking to take Daley’s head off, and vice versa.

Gabe’s Call: Larkin by T/KO (strikes, 1:38 round 1)

Gabe’s Recommended Play: Under 2.5 rounds (+100)

Featherweight bout: Aaron Pico (-430) vs. Justin Linn (+335)

Gabe’s Thoughts: Pico looks for his first pro MMA win in his second pro bout in this contest, after being quickly submitted in his debut. He was overpriced at the books in that fight, and I think he is being overpriced again in this matchup. I believe Pico has holes in his submission defense and I think Linn is capable of exposing them. I think there is a good chance Linn catches onto a guillotine choke in this matchup and hands Pico his second consecutive defeat, leaving him winless as a pro. At these odds, I see a great amount of value in Linn and definitely think he is worth a wager.

Gabe’s Call: Linn by Submission (guillotine choke, 1:02 round 1)

Gabe’s Recommended Play: Linn (+335)
