MMAOddsBreaker.com has returned for 2017 and just like last year, we’re keeping a running tally of our staff’s fight picks for all major mixed martial arts (MMA) events. After 21 events thus far the current standings are still pretty tight. Nick Kalikas is in first place with a picks score of 171-76-1 (69%). James Lynch is within striking distance currently in second place with a picks score of 165-82-1. Vegas Matty seems to be on the rise and worth keeping a close eye on as he’s currently in third place with a picks score of 163-84-1.
There were only two unanimous picks out of 12 fights in total for UFC 214 (Alexandra Albu & Cristiane Justino). The most contentious fights were: Tyron Woodley vs. Demian Maia (Woodley 5 – Maia 4) and Renato Moicano vs. Brian Ortega (Moicano 4 – Ortega 5).
