Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs. Jodie Esquibel at UFC Fight Night 118
Former women’s strawweight title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz returns to action next month in her native Poland for UFC Fight Night 118 on October 21 in Gdansk. Kowalkiewicz has lost two straight bouts, the first was a five round war against champion Joanna Jedrzedjek and she most recently was submitted in the first round by Claudia Gadelha. She is scheduled to square off opposite Jodie Esquibel. Esquibel trains out of Jackson’s MMA and most recently fought on The Ultimate Fighter season 23 where she lost in the qualifying round. Expect Kowalkiewicz to open as a heavy favorite.
