UFC Fight Night 115: Volkov vs. Struve
Date: September 2, 2017
Arena: Ahoy Rotterdam
City: Rotterdam, Netherlands
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Rotterdam, Netherlands for the second time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 115: Volkov vs. Struve. The 12-fight card is scheduled to get underway with preliminary action at 11:45 a.m. ET, with the main card kicking off at 3 p.m. ET. The card will be broadcasted live on UFC Fight Pass in it’s entirety. If interested in wagering on any bouts for these fight cards, all betting lines are made available at Several Bookmakers.
The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are:
Till/Velickovic +700 || 1u to win 7u
Till will be looking to remain unbeaten as a professional mixed martial artist when he takes on Velickovic, who is coming off a highlight-reel knockout of Nico Musoke. I think Till stands a decent chance of putting Vellivkovic away early in this welterweight contest, but should he fail to end it early and let the fight play out into rounds two and three, I think we could be in for quite an entertaining three-round battle. I think it will be an entertaining bout, whether it lasts two minutes or goes all 15, but obviously the longer it goes, the better our chances of cashing this +700 ticket will be. These 170-pounders are generally involved in entertaining scraps, so I expect this one to be no different. At 7-to-1, I gotta take a shot, as I think the line should be +470.
Reneau/De Oliveira +950 1u to win 9.5u
Reneau was scheduled to take o Germaine de Randamie in this contest, but the Dutchwoman pulled out of the bout due to injury and has been replaced by short notice promotional newcomer Talita De Oliveira, who is eager to impress in her Octagon debut. I think this fight will stand a good chance of taking home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, as long we both ladies deliver and the fans get an entertaining scrap out of it, regardless of how long it lasts. Dana White generally favors women’s bouts when it comes down to bonus time, and when one of the fighters is stepping up on short notice, that certainly helps, also. I think the betting line for this fight to take home the prize should be +600, so I see great value in it at the currently offered price of +950.
