Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8 Closing Odds and Betting Results

Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8 took place on Tuesday, August 29. The card was headlined by a lightweight bout between undefeated prospects Jose Flores and and Matt Frevola. Closing odds are courtesy of Several Bookmakers.

Here’s a quick recap of each of those fights.

Favorites that Won

Frevola had Flores hurt in the first round, but it wasn’t until the second round when he was able to put Flores away with a submission. Frevola closed as a -180 favorite while Flores was a +158 underdog. Frevola earned a UFC contract with his victory.

In a high-energy bout, Bevon Lewis landed a straight punch in round two that dropped Elias Urbina. Lewis followed up with strikes on the ground to win by TKO. Lewis closed as a -250 fave with Urbina a +210 dog. Lewis was given a developmental contract as opposed to a full UFC contract with the victory.

Underdogs that Won

Adam Antolin snuck out a split decision in a back-and-forth fight against Casey Kenney. Antolin closed as the biggest underdog on the card to win at +250 while Kenney was the largest favorite to lose at -300.

Lauren Mueller landed the heavier strikes to earn a unanimous-decision victory over Kelly Velasco. Mueller closed as a +150 dog while Velasco was a -170 fave. With the hard-fought win, Mueller was awarded a UFC contract.

Allen Crowder out-worked Dontale Mayes and was able to earn a third-round TKO victory in the opening bout of the night. Crowder closed as a +235 underdog while Mayes was a -275 favorite. With the victory, Crowder was awarded a UFC contract.
