Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 6 Closing Odds and Betting Results

Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Event 6 took place this past Tuesday (August 15, 2017). The card was headlined by a middleweight bout between Charles Byrd and Buddy Wallace. Closing odds are courtesy of Several Bookmakers.

Favorites that Won

Charles Byrd landed some heavy ground-and-pound in the first two rounds of his fight against Buddy Wallace before submitting him midway through the second round. With the win, Byrd is the first fighter to earn two wins in the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series. After two stoppage wins, he was awarded a UFC contract. Byrd closed as a -200 favorite with Wallace a +170 underdog.

Grant Dawson dominated Adrian Diaz from start to finish, securing a submission in the second round to improve his professional record to 12-1. Dawson closed as a -150 fave with Diaz a +130 dog. Dawson also earned a UFC contract with the dominant victory.

Jamie Alvarez won the first two rounds and had to survive a barrage in the third to win a close decision over Martin Day. Alvarez closed as -170 chalk with Day at +150.

After losing the first two rounds, Jamie Colleen came from behind to earn a submission victory with under 20 seconds in the fight, stunning previously undefeated Tiffany Masters. Colleen closed as a -135 fave with Masters at +115.

Underdog that Won

Cameron Olson outworked Karl Reed in the clinch and earned big takedowns in the final two rounds to win a decision on the scorecards. Olson closed as the biggest underdog on the card at +255 and pulled off the only upset while Reed was a big -310 favorite.
