Five Props that Cashed Big at UFC Fight Night 114

Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 114 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.

1) Dustin Ortiz by T/KO (+1275)

Ortiz scored the fastest finish in UFC flyweight history with a first-round knockout of Team Alpha Male’s Hector Sandoval. It was a picture-perfect performance by Ortiz, who returned to the win column following a submission loss to Brandon Moreno just a few months ago. Big congratulations are due to those who wagered on him to defeat Sandoval by T/KO, as it was the biggest prop to cash in on the night at a whopping +1275!

2) Humberto Bandenay by T/KO (+1025)

Bandenay shocked the MMA world with a first-round knockout of surging undefeated prospect Martin Bravo. It was a phenomenal, highlight-reel finish by the Peruvian, who made a serious impression in his Octagon debut and allowed those who wagered on him winning by T/KO to break the bank at +1025! Kudos to you if you were riding hot and heavy on that one.

3) Joseph Morales by Submission (+410)

Morales defeated fellow promotional newcomer Roberto Sanchez via first-round rear-naked choke submission in come-from-behind fashion after being taken down and outwrestled in the early going of the opening round. The Team Alpha Male product managed to get the fight back to the feet, where it didn’t take much time at all for him to rock and drop Morales, and then take his back to find the rear-naked choke for the tap. It was an excellent UFC debut for Morales, who remains undefeated as a pro and allowed those who wagered on him to win by submission to cash out at a sweet +410. Congrats if you were on that one!

4) Niko Price by T/KO (+380)

Price defeated Alan Jouban by first-round knockout, and he now enjoys three consecutive victories inside the Octagon, all of which have come by finish, with two T/KO’s and one submission. The undefeated prospect continues to make noise in the UFC’s welterweight division, and following that highlight-reel finish, for which he took home a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus, fight fans look forward to seeing him back inside the Octagon. Congratulations to those of you who took him to win this fight by T/KO, as you made away with a solid +380.

5) Jack Hermansson by T/KO (+365)

Hermansson defeated Brad Scott via TKO in the first round of action. He was able to capitalize off a poor kick attempt by Scott and take him to the mat, which was the beginning of the end for the Arizona-based Brit. The Swede mounted Scott and rained down a barrage of punches and elbows that eventually forced the referee to step in and halt the action, awarding Hermansson his second consecutive victory inside the Octagon, with both of them coming in the very first round of action. Congrats are due to those who backed Hermansson to take home this victory by T/KO, as the prop paid out at a respectable +365.

A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $1,760,738
