UFC Fight Night 114 took place Saturday (August 5, 2017) in Mexico City. The card was headlined by a Top 10 flyweight clash between Brandon Moreno and Sergio Pettis. Closing odds are courtesy of Several Bookmakers.

Favorites that Won Alexa Grasso finished strong in a close third round to win a split decision over Randa Markos to give the Mexican fighter her first victory over a Top 10 opponent. Grasso closed as a -220 favorite with the Markos a +180 underdog.
In a rather lethargic fight, Sam Alvey stuffed Rashad Evans’ takedown attempts and landed the better strikes on the counter to win a close split decision. Alvey closed as a -130 fave and Evans was a +110 dog in the closely lined contest.
In the opening fight of the main card, Alejandro Perez snuck out a split decision win over Andrew Soukhamthath on the strength of a strong round three. Perez closed as a -165 fave while Soukhamthath was a +145 dog.
Jack Hermansson quickly secured a takedown and beat up Brad Scott with punches and elbows to force the referee to step in, stopping the fight to give him a first-round TKO win. Hermansson closed as a big -280 favorite with Scott a +240 underdog.
Dustin Ortiz earned the quickest finish in flyweight history, landing a punch to the temple that sent Alex Sandoval to the canvas. Ortiz closed as a -175 fave with Sandoval a +155 dog.
Rani Yahya took Henry Briones to grappling school in earning a quick submission victory in the first round. Yahya closed at -230 while Briones was +190.
Jose Quinonez out-worked Diego Rivas both standing as well in the grappling exchanges to win a 30-27 decision across the board. Quinonez closed at -245 with Rivas +205.
Despite being cut on the feet, Jordan Rinaldi earned top control and was able to secure a von flue choke and earn the win over Alvaro Herrera. Rinaldi closed at -225 while Herrera was +185 in defeat.
Underdogs that Won Sergio Pettis survived an early submission scare to force Brandon Moreno into a prolonged striking exchange, out-classing him over five rounds to win a decision. Pettis closed as a +155 underdog with Moreno disappointing his backers at -175.
Niko Price landed a head kick that sent Alan Jouban backwards. Price quicky jumped on Jouban, landing punches until the referee stepped in to stop it. Price closed as a +145 dog while Jouban was a -165 fave.
Humberto Bandenay stunned the home crowd, as he landed a knee flush that put Mexico native Martin Bravo away early in the first round. Bandenay closed the biggest underdog on the card at +250 while Bravo was -300 chalk.
Joseph Morales landed a right hand on the feet that dropped Roberto Sanchez. From there, Morales was able to secure Sanchez’s back and latch in a rear-naked choke to earn a first-round finish in his UFC debut. Morales closed as a small +100 dog while Sanchez closed as a -120 fave in this closely lined contest.
