Mike Perry announced Wednesday on Twitter that he’s fighting former title challenger Thiago Alves at UFC Fight Night 116 on September 16th at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

Perry (10-1) is coming off a second-round TKO win over Jake Ellenberger at UFC Fight Night 108 in April. The 25-year-old is 3-1 in the UFC. Alves (22-11) is coming off a unanimous-decision victory over Patrick Cote at UFC 210 back in April. The win snapped the American Top Tean standout’s two-fight losing streak.
