ACB 65 Opening Betting Odds

ACB 65 emanates from Sheffield Arena in South Yorkshire, England this Saturday (July 22, 2017) at 12 p.m (ET). In the main event, UFC veteran Thiago Silva defends his ACB light heavyweight title against Batraz Agnaev.

Silva (19-5) has rebounded from a tough 2015 when he lost back-to-back fights, as he heads into this matchup on a three-fight win streak. The 34-year-old won the vacant ABC 205-pound title in his last bout, defeating Jared Torgeson by unanimous decision at ACB 51 back in January. Agnaev (3-0) made his professional debut in February 2015 and has racked up three straight wins by stoppage. The 29-year-old is coming off an impressive first-round TKO victory over Max Nunes at ACB 54 in March.

In the co-main feature, former UFC lightweight Leandro Silva looks for his first two-fight win streak since 2015 when he battles American Joshua Aveles. Silva (20-5-1) is coming off a first-round TKO victory over former Titan FC champion Pat Healy at ACB 51 in January. “Buscapé” went 3-3 with 1 No-Contest during his UFC tenture, earning wins over Charlie Brenneman, Lewis Gonzalez and Efrain Escudero. Aveles (25-11-2) heads into this matchup on a six-fight unbeaten streak, including a split-decision nod over Amirkhan Adaev in his last fight at ACB 54. During that run, the 29-year-old went to a draw with UFC lightweight standout Drakkar Klose at Tachi PF 26: Brawl in the Hall in February 2015.

Also on the main card, Jackson/Winklejohn product Donald Sanchez looks for his first win since 2015 when he battles Alexey Polpudnikov. Sanchez (31-16) has alternated between wins and losses in his last five fights while Polpudnikov (22-4-1) heads into this matchup on a 12-fight win streak.

In the midldeweight division, Bellator veteran Vyacheslav Vasilevsky attempts his third win in a row when he takes on 36-year-old Will Noland. Vasilevsky (30-5) is coming off back-to-back wins over UFC veteran Matt Horwich and fellow Russian fighter Ibragim Chuzhigaev. Meanwhile, Noland (17-6) is riding a three-fight winning streak, including a TKO victory over former UFC welterweight Dennis Hallman.

Rounding out the main card, the aforementioned former UFC and Strikeforce lightweight Healy look to get back on the winning track against fellow UFC vet Brendan Loughnane. Healy (30-23) has dropped three of his last four fights, including back-to-back knockout losses to Gesias Cavalcante and Leandro Silva. Loughnane (14-2) has won nine of his last 10 fights, with his lone setback coming against UFC standout Tom Duquesnoy where he lost by split decision.
