GLORY 43 Opening Betting Odds

GLORY 43 emanates from the The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York this Friday night (July 14, 2017) at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN 3. The Glory SuperFight Series portion of this card will air on UFC Fight Pass at 7:30 p.m. The evening’s headliner features the two finalists of the featherweight tournament, but in the co-main event, UFC veteran Guto Inocente takes on Benjamin Adegbuyi in a heavyweight affair.

Inocente (33-8) has amassed a 4-1 record in GLORY, with his lone loss coming against Jamal Ben Saddik at GLORY 39 back in March. The 31-year-old boasts 17 career wins by knockout. Adegbuyi (28-4) heads into this matchup on a six-fight win streak, including a unanimous-decision victory over Anderson Silva at GLORY 38 in Chicago. The Romanian fighter hasn’t lost since a 2015 setback to Rico Verhoeven at GLORY 26.

In the lightweight division, Elvis “Super” Gashi takes on Josh Jauncey. Gashi (18-0) was born in Kosovo but has lived in the United States since 2013, compiling a 107-3 amateur record. “Super” will be making his promotional debut. Jauncey (26-8) is coming of “Fighter of the Night” honors against Antonio Gomez at GLORY 40 Copenhagen in April. The Canadian boasts 15 wins by knockout.

The interim light heavyweight championship is also on the line when Pavel Zhuravlev squares off against Saulo Cavalari. Zhuravlev (70-11-1) has won eight of his last nine fights, including a first-round TKO victory over Zinedine Hameur-Lain at GLORY 35 in November. The 33-year-old has won 42 of his 70 career bouts by decision. Cavalari (60-5) looks to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time since 2012. The Brazilian is coming off a TKO setback to Artem Vakhitov at GLORY 38 and has lost two of his last three fights.
