Here are my top prop plays for the TUF 25 Finale…
Michael Johnson (-165) vs. Justin Gaethje (+145)
Fight Goes to Decision (+325)
In short, while I favor this five-round lightweight contest to end inside the distance, I think the betting value is with the Fight Goes to Decision prop at +325. I think that line should be +200 and is worth playing at +250 or better.
CB Dolloway (-190) vs. Ed Herman (+165)
Herman by Decision (+540)
Putting it simply, I do favor Herman to win this fight inside the distance, but I think there is more value in the decision prop at the underdog price of +540.
Teruto Ishihara (-300) vs. Gray Maynard (+250)
Maynard Inside the Distance (+571)
I think there is value in this prop, as I think Maynard has a good chance of catching Ishihara during a slugfest and putting him out. Ishihara has the much better chin of the two fighters, but despite the fact that Maynard has been on a decline, everybody knows that power is the last thing to go. If these two start trading, then it’s anybody’s fight. At +571, I think it’s worth a gamble. I could also see Maynard finding success with his wrestling and ultimately securing a rear-naked choke submission victory.
