Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsBreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 112 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.
1) Tim Means by Decision (+636)
Means defeated TriStar’s Alex Garcia via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards following three rounds of action. He did not take all three rounds but did secure two on all three cards to find his way back into the win column following a second-round rear-naked choke submission loss to Alex Oliveira earlier this year. Congratulations are due to those who were wise enough to back Means by decision, because while he was a massive betting favorite on the moneyline, this prop on him paid out at a massive +636!
2) Jared Gordon by T/KO (+547)
Gordon impressed in his promotional debut by defeating fellow promotional newcomer Michel Quinones via TKO in the second round of their featured preliminary card bout on UFC Fight Pass. It was a picture-perfect debut performance by “Flash” as he looks forward to getting back inside the Octagon soon. Big congrats to those who backed Gordon to take home a T/KO victory, as you made out with a beautiful +547!
3) Kevin Lee by Submission (+415)
Despite winning by a controversial tap, Lee defeated Michael Chiesa via first-round rear-naked choke submission to make it five straight wins for himself inside the Octagon. Kudos to you if you played the Lee by Submission prop, as it paid out at a sweet +415! Even bigger congrats if you tailed me on that, as it was one of the plays I recommended in my props article.
4) Clay Guida by Decision (+365)
Guida came back from a rough first round to outwrestle Erik Koch in rounds two and three and pick up a unanimous-decision victory. It was an impressive, classic Clay Guida performance and victory, and a solid way for him to find his way back into the UFC’s win column. A move back up to 155 pounds is serving him well so far. Congrats are due here to those who were wise enough to wager on “The Carpenter” defeating Koch on the cards, as the prop paid out at a nice +365.
5) Jeremy Kimball by T/KO (+350)
Kimball defeated Josh Stansbury to pick up his first UFC win following a first-round TKO loss to Marcos Rogerio de Lima in his promotional debut earlier this year. It was an excellent outing for the Colorado native, who added an excellent highlight to his reel. Congrats to anyone who used their wallets to back him to win this fight by T/KO, as it paid out at a solid +350.
A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $513,062.
