The Ultimate Fighting Championship will be returning to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the second time in promotional history this Sunday (June 25, 2017) with UFC Fight Night 112: Chiesa vs. Lee. The 13-fight card kicks off on UFC Fight Pass at 5:30 p.m. (ET), with the prelims continuing on FOX Sports 2 at 7 p.m. Main card action will then get underway on FOX Sports 1 at 9 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are available at Several Bookmakers.
Kevin Lee (-135) vs. Michael Chiesa (+125)
Lee by Submission (+400)
Chiesa by T/KO (+545)
I think there is value in the Lee by Submission betting line, as well as the Chiesa by T/KO betting line. For Chiesa, I think a submission win is more likely than a T/KO win, but I think there is more value with the T/KO prop. Contrary to popular opinion, I think Chiesa has a legitimate chance of stopping Lee with strikes. While Chiesa is no world beater on the feet, he has shown some improved hands. He dropped and nearly finished Jorge Masvidal a few years ago, so I could see him putting Lee down, then away, considering the fact that Lee does not have a very good chin. He was dropped by a jab against Al Iaquinta and knocked out by a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in Leonardo Santos.
Dominick Reyes (-320) vs. Joachim Christensen (+290)
Reyes Inside the Distance (-125)
Reyes by Decision (+300)
I think Reyes is likely to finish this fight, so I like the Inside the Distance play here at the current price.
Carla Esparza (-220) vs. Maryna Moroz (+200)
Esparza by Submission (+800)
I favor Esparza to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards, but I think there is a decent chance she submits Moroz. At +800, I definitely think it’s worth a shot. She submitted Rose Namajunas in her Octagon debut, and one could argue that Namajunas is tougher to submit than Moroz.
Tony Martin (-125) vs. Johnny Case (+115)
Martin Inside the Distance (+322)
I favor Martin to win this fight inside the distance. I think a submission is the most likely outcome, but I could see a T/KO stoppage too.
