Combate reports that the UFC has signed Amanda Lemos, who will replace Lina Lansberg against Leslie Smith at UFC Fight Night 113 in Scotland on July 16th. Lemos (6-0-1) has fought primarily for Brazil’s Jungle Fight promotion and has earned all of her wins by stoppage. The 30-year-old will compete for the first time in over a year.
Smith (9-7-1) heads into this matchup having won two of her last three fights. The 34-year-old is currently 3-3 inside the Octagon.

Conor McGregor, Demetrious Johnson nominated for 2017 ESPY Awards The 2017 ESPY nominees were announced Wednesday, and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson are nominated for awards.
McGregor (21-3), who won the 2016 Best Fighter and Best Breakthrough Athlete awards last year, is nominated again in the Best Fighter category. Johnson (26-2-1) is nominated for the first time, as he also is in the running for Best Fighter this year. The pair of UFC champions will go toe-to-toe against boxers Terence Crawford, Gennady Golovkin and Andre Ward. Voting started yesterday, and the awards show airs July 12th on ABC from Los Angeles.
