Five Props that Cashed Big at UFC Fight Night 111

Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsBreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 111 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.

1) Ulka Sasaki by Submission (+800)

Sasaki scored the biggest upset of the night by defeating Justin Scoggins via second-round rear-naked choke submission and allowed those who wagered on him to do so to cash their tickets at a whopping +800! Congratulations are definitely in order to those who were on that one. The victory puts the Japanese fighter back in the win column following a unanimous-decision loss to Wilson Reis earlier this year, and he aims to make it two straight in September for the UFC’s upcoming trip to his native Japan.

2) Russell Doane by T/KO (+685)

Doane snapped his four-fight losing streak and returned to the win column with an impressive, highlight-reel knockout of Kwan Hyo Kwak, who drops to 0-2 and remains winless in the UFC. The Hawaiian delivered arguably the best performance of his career and found new life at 135 pounds, saving his spot on the UFC’s roster with a win. Congrats to those who backed Doane to defeat Kwak by T/KO, as the prop paid out at a massive +685.

3) Alex Caceres by T/KO (+600)

Caceres defeated promotional newcomer Rolando Dy via second-round TKO due to an eye injury. Caceres snapped a two-fight losing skid and returned to the win column at 145 pounds while those who wagered on him to take home this victory by T/KO cashed out at a crazy +600. Kudos if you were riding dirty on that one.

4) Marcin Tybura by Decision (+487)

Tybura defeated former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski by unanimous decision to make it three straight wins for himself inside the Octagon. Those who wagered on the big man to win on the judges’ scorecards cashed out at a sweet +487, so congratulations to you if you were wise enough to be playing that prop.

5) Li Jingliang by Decision (+346)

Jingliang defeated promotional newcomer Frank Camacho via unanimous decision to make it three straight wins for himself inside the Octagon. He survived a rough first round to come back and win the second and third for a unanimous nod on the cards. Those who wagered on Jingliang to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards made away with a solid +346, so congrats if you took that one.

A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $1,294,641
