In short, I think he is going to manage to grind this one out. This could be a boring fight consisting mainly of Means being pressed up against the cage and likely taken down a few times, but when it’s all said and done, I see Sullivan getting his hand raised and extending his Octagon winning streak to 3-0. “Tim Means Business” but Sullivan is on a mission and I think he pulls it off in front of his hometown crowd. Gabe’s Call: Sullivan by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Sullivan (+130) 2u to win 2.6u Featherweight bout: Diego Brandao (-170) vs Jimy Hettes (+150) Gabe’s Thoughts: To put it simply, I think Hettes will manage to outgrapple Brandao in this contest en route to either a submission or decision victory. If Brandao doesn’t come and knock Hettes out right out of the gate, I think he will end up losing the fight. I don’t believe he really spends his camps at Jackson-Winklejohn MMA in Albuquerque anymore, I think he’s been training in Brazil. I don’t think his head is where it needs to be and if Hettes shows up mentally on-point, I believe he will be able to get the better of the Brazilian.
