Fight Nights Global 68 Opening Betting Odds

Fight Nights Global 68 emanates from Sports Center “Yubileyniy” in St. Petersburg, Russia this Friday (June 2, 2017) at 12 p.m. (ET). In the main event, Sergey Pavlovich puts his undefeated record on the line against Mikhail Mokhnatkin.

Pavlovich (10-0) is coming off a unanimous-decision victory against Alexei Kudin at Fight Nights Global 54 in November. The Moscow native has earned eight of his 10 career wins by knockout. Mokhnatkin (9-1-2) is riding an 11-fight unbeaten streak, including unanimous-decision win over UFC vet Fábio Maldonado at Fight Nights Global 52 in October. The 27-year-old has six of his nine career victories by submission.

In the co-feature, former UFC heavyweight title challenger Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva looks to snap a four-fight skid when he battles former Bellator heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov. Silva (19-11) has won just once in his last nine fights and will be going for his second win since 2013. The American Top Team product has been knocked out in five of his last seven fights. Minakov (19-0) heads into this matchup off a TKO victory against DJ Linderman at Fight Nights Global 59 in February. The 32-year-old has 10 career wins by knockout with seven submissions to his credit.

Also on the card is former UFC light heavyweight Nikita Krylov, who makes his first apperance outside the Octagon since 2013 versus Stjepan Bekavac. Krylov (21-5) heads into this matchup off a first-round submission setback to Misha Cirkunov at UFC 206 in December. The loss snapped the 24-year-old’s five-fight win streak. Bekavac (19-6) is coming off back-to-back knockout victories over Martin Šolc and Evan Nedd. “Stipe” will be making his promotional debut.

In addition, Former Bellator heavyweight Tony Johnson Jr. will competes on the main card against Baga Agaev. Johnson Jr (10-3) is coming off a majority-decision loss to Cheick Kongo at Bellator 161 in September. The 31-year-old boasts wins over UFC heavyweight Alexander Volkov, Derrick Lewis and former UFC champ Tim Sylvia. Agaev (28-19) has lost eight of his last 10 fights and will be looking for just his third win since 2012. The St. Petersburg native has 17 career victories by submission along with six knockouts.
