MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas just opened the betting line for the upcoming UFC women’s bantamweight title rematch between champion Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko at Several Bookmakers. The fight is set to take place July 8th at UFC 213 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. Here it is…
Valentina Shevchenko +120
Amanda Nunes -150
Nunes (14-4) defeated Shevchenko (14-2) by unanimous decision last year at UFC 196, and then went on to win the title belt by beating Miesha Tate via first-round rear-naked choke submission at UFC 200 last July. The American Top Team product followed that up with a first-round knockout of former champ Ronda Rousey at UFC 207 this past December.
Shevchenko’s loss to Nunes last year was her first setback since 2010. After suffering that setback, the 29-year old has back-to-back victories over Holly Holm and Julianna Peña.
