UFC officials announced Monday that Welsh bantamweight Brett Johns will take on Canadian Mitch Gagnon at UFC Fight Night 113 on July 16th in Glasgow, Scotland. Johns (13-0) came through in his promotional debut in November, taking out Kwan Ho Kwak by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 99. The 25-year-old was slated to compete at UFC Fight Night 107 back in March, however, his opponent Ian Entwistle missed weight and was removed from the card at the last minute.
Gagnon (12-4) heads into this matchup off back-to-back losses, including a unanimous-decision setback to Matthew Lopez at UFC 206 this past December. Before the two-fight skid, the 32-year-old was on a four-fight win streak. Here’s an updated look at the card…
