European Betting Odds: Cage 39 from Helsinki

Cage 39 emanates from the Cultural Centre in Helsinki, Finland this Saturday (April 29, 2017). In the main event, Finnish bantamweight Janne “Jamba” Elonen-Kulmala looks to push his winning streak to 12 straight when he battles Brazil’s Diego Silva.

Elonen-Kulmala (15-4) has won seven fights by stoppage during that stretch and hasn’t lost a bout since 2012. The 27-year-old has rebounded nicely after starting his career off at 4-4. Silva (6-2) heads into this matchup winning his last three fights and hasn’t competed since July 2016. The 23-year-old has only gone the distance once in his eight-fight career.

The co-main event is another Finland versus Brazil matchup, as Mikael Silander takes on Eduardo Felipe at a 134-pound catchweight bout. Silander (15-5) has fought the likes of Ali Bagautinov and Neil Seery in his 20-fight career, winning three of his last four fights. The Espoo Ring Shark Gym product competes for the second time this year.

Felipe (23-14, 3 No-Contests) hasn’t competed since a March 2015 loss to current UFC flyweight Magomed Bibulatov. The 36-year-old, who began his career in 2001, will look to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time since 2013.
