The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads back to Nashville, TN for the fourth time in promotional history this Saturday (April 22, 2017) with UFC Fight Night 108: Swanson vs. Lobov. Flyweight bout: Dustin Ortiz (-210) vs. Brandon Moreno (+175)
Gabe’s Thoughts: This is simply a value play, as I see this being a close fight that could go either way. Ultimately, I favor the veteran Ortiz to do enough to take the nod, but Moreno is a complete gamer, constantly improving and tough to count out. I think he should be a +130 underdog here, so I see value in him at the currently offered underdog price of +175.

Women’s Strawweight bout: Jessica Penne (-145) vs. Danielle Taylor (+125)
Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Taylor finds some success on the feet against Penne in this contest, and I also see her managing to keep things on the feet for the better half of three rounds. Should Penne manage to take the fight to the mat, I think Taylor’s chances of holding her own down there. We have yet to see it, but she does have a solid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game of her own, so I don’t expect her to be a fish out of water should this fight hit the canvas. I think Taylor should be a slight betting favorite in this matchup, so I like her for a play at her current underdog price-tag of +125.
