LFA 5LFA 8 Betting Odds

LFA 8 emanates from the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina tonight (April 7th) live on AXS TV. This is the first national and international broadcast of a MMA event in South Carolina history.

In the main event, flyweight Cee Jay Hamilton looks to extend his winning streak to five-straight when he battles 25-year-old Jesse Bazzi. Hamilton (10-4) boasts four wins by knockout and has won six of his last seven fights. Bazzi (6-1) defeated Jared Scoggins (brother of UFC flyweight Justin Scoggins) in his last fight by unanimous decision which earned him this main event slot. Interestingly enough Bazzi now trains with Scoggins in South Carolina and also splits time between there and his home gym at Michigan Top Team.

In the co-main event welterweight Jeremie Holloway looks to make it two in a row as he battles 31-fight veteran Dave Vitkay. Holloway (8-2) has fought the likes of Michael Page, TUF 16’s Matt Secor and one-time UFC welterweight Mike Jackson. The 32-year-old has five of his eight career wins by stoppage. Vitkay (18-12-1) hasn’t lost a fight since 2012 and heads into this matchup on a eight-fight win streak.

Also in the card, flyweight Jared Scoggins looks to rebound from the first loss of his career when he takes on Juan Puerta. Scoggins (6-1) made his professional debut in 2015 and has won four of his six career fights by knockout. Puerta (11-5) trains out of American Top Team Atlanta and has won three of his last four fights.

MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting odds for the three fights on LFA 8 today at Several Bookmakers. Check them out below:
