Ryan Bader to make Bellator debut against King Mo on June 24th On the Spike TV broadcast last Friday night, Bellator announced that newly-signed light heavyweight Ryan Bader will take on Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in his promotional debut at Bellator 180 on June 24th in New York’s Madison Square Garden. Bader (22-5) is coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Ilir Latifi and Antônio Rogério Nogueira. The 33-year-old TUF 8 winner will be competing outside the UFC for the first time since 2008. Lawal (21-6) is coming off a 29-28 unanimous-decision victory over rival Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at Bellator 175 last Friday (March 31, 2017). The former Strikeforce champion has gone 2-2 in his last four fights. Hadzovic (10-3) is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Mairbek Taisumov at UFC Fight Night 86 and will be looking for his first UFC win. The loss also snapped the 30-year-old’s six-fight win streak. Held (22-6) is also searching for his first win inside the Octagon, as he’s lost two straight fights to Joe Lauzon and Diego Sanchez. The 25-year-old only has one win in his last four fights.
