In one line, I will be providing my own personal description for every bout for UFC Fight Night 107 on Saturday (March 18, 2017). This article is aimed at the casual fan who is not familiar with most of the athletes competing on the card. I will also be following the Twitter rule of thumb in keeping them to 140 characters or less. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are available at Several Bookmakers. And without further ado, here are my one-liners for UFC Fight Night 107… MAIN CARD (UFC FIGHT PASS) Jimi Manuwa vs. Corey Anderson KO artist Manuwa looks to make it two straight wins for himself when he takes on TUF 19 winner Anderson in a head-scratcher of a main event. Gunnar Nelson vs. Alan Jouban This co-main event is without a doubt the most highly-anticipated bout on this card, as fight fans are really looking forward to this scrap. Brad Pickett vs. Marlon Vera The always game “Chito” Vera steps in on short notice to take on England’s own “One-Punch” Pickett in Pickett’s farewell retirement bout. Makwan Amirkhani vs. Arnold Allen Up-and-coming featherweight prospects are pitted against each other in a potential ‘Fight of the Night’ candidate to kick off the main card. PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC FIGHT PASS) Joseph Duffy vs. Reza Madadi Irishman Duffy, the biggest betting favorite at UFC Fight Night 107, fights out the final bout on his UFC contract before entering Free Agency. Francimar Barroso vs. Darren Stewart A rematch of a bout that ended in a TKO win for Stewart but was later turned into a No-Contest, both 205-pounders look to settle the score. Daniel Omielanczuk vs. Timothy Johnson A heavyweight showdown between Polish kickboxer Omielanczuk and fan favorite Johnson, and like many heavyweight scraps, anything can happen. Marc Diakiese vs. Teemu Packalen English 135-pound prospect aims to remain undefeated by taking out Finland’s Packalen, who looks to make it two in a row for himself in the UFC. Tom Breese vs. Oluwale Bamgbose A firefight in the UFC’s middleweight division that has “DO NOT BLINK” written all over it, so act accordingly. Leon Edwards vs. Vicente Luque An excellent battle in the UFC’s 170-pound division between two surging prospects looking to break into the rankings with an impressive victory. Ian Entwistle vs. Brett Johns Submission ace Entwistle looks to bounce back into the W column by beating undefeated Welshman Johns, who aims to make a run for the gold. Brad Scott vs. Scott Askham A pair of Englishmen go to war when TUF: Smashes runner-up Scott takes on BAMMA veteran Askham in a potential pink-slip matchup. Lina Lansberg vs. Lucie Pudilova Appropriately placed all the way at the bottom of the prelims, this is without a doubt the least looked forward to bout on this fight card.
