Two-Way Parlay for UFC Fight Night 107

Vicente LuqueUFC Fight Night 107: Manuwa vs. Anderson Date: March 18, 2017 Arena: The O2 Arena City: London, England The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in London, England this Saturday (March 18, 2017) for the ninth time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 107: Manuwa vs. Anderson. The 13-fight card will be streamed live in entirety on UFC Fight Pass, with preliminary action kicking off at 1:30 p.m. ET and main card action getting underway at 5 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are available to you at Several Bookmakers. Here is my parlay: Lightweight bout: Marc Diakiese (-230) vs. Teemu Packalen (+190) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Diakiese is the superior striker heading into this 155-pound contest, and I see him dominating Packalen on the feet here. I expect the Brit to pick up a victory in impressive fashion and remain undefeated as a pro, going 3-0 in the UFC. Packalen is a solid test for him, but I think it is one he will pass with flying colors on his move up the promotion’s lightweight ranks. I see Diakiese successfully defending Packalen’s takedown attempts, keeping the fight standing and winning a one-sided striking affair. I think it is 50/50 as to whether the Brit will pick up the win on the judges’ scorecards here or manage to stop Packalen with strikes, and regardless of how he gets it done, I see him getting his hand raised. I think he should be a -350 betting favorite heading into this contest, so I like him a lot at the current odds. Gabe’s Call: Diaries by T/KO (strikes, 4:03 round 1) Middleweight bout: Vicente Luque (-155) vs. Leon Edwards (+135) Gabe’s Thoughts: On the feet, this is a close fight. A year ago, I would have given a definite edge to Edwards, but after seeing what Luque was able to do to Belal Muhammad, who I figured was a superior striker, I can’t count the Brazilian out on the feet here. Anything can happen on the feet in this bout, but where Luque does have a big advantage is in the grappling department. Edwards’ grappling is solid and improving, but he will be outgunned on the mat here against Luque. I can see Luque using his superior grappling skills to win rounds, and possibly secure a submission over the Brit in front of his home crowd. At -155, I think Luque holds some value here, as I believe he should be a -210 betting favorite going in. Gabe’s Call: Luque by Submission (D’Arce choke, 3:04 round 1) Gabe’s Recommeded Parlay: Diaries (-230) and Luque (-155) at +136 All of my content and plays are free.
