Over/Under Totals for UFC Fight Night 107

Daniel OmielanczukUFC Fight Night 107: Manuwa vs. Anderson Date: March 18, 2017 Arena: The O2 Arena City: London, England The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in London, England this Saturday (March 18, 2017) for the ninth time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 107: Manuwa vs. Anderson. The 13-fight card will be streamed live in entirety on UFC Fight Pass, with preliminary action kicking off at 1:30 p.m. ET and main card action getting underway at 5 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are available to you at Several Bookmakers. My Over/Under Totals are: Featherweight bout: Makwan Amirkhani (-130) vs. Arnold Allen (+110) Gabe’s Thoughts: Both of these 145-pounders are coming off extended layoffs, so it is a big question mark as to how much they have each improved from the last time we saw them. To generalize, I think Allen is the better fighter of the two, but Amirkhani is the better wrestler, and I feel it may ultimately come down to the wrestling. I can see takedowns and top position being keys to victory for Amirkhani in this bout. I am in complete agreement with the betting odds in that I slightly lean Amirkhani, so with that said, I see no betting value on either side. However, I do like the Total of Over 2.5 rounds at -150, as I think both featherweights are more likely to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards than by finish. Gabe’s Call: Amirkhani by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Over 2.5 rounds (-150) Heavyweight bout: Timothy Johnson (-160) vs. Daniel Omielanczuk (+140) Gabe’s Thoughts: More or less, I am in agreement with the betting odds for this heavyweight contest, as I think it is a close one, with a slight lean to Johnson. Omielanczuk will have the striking advantage, but Johnson will have the grappling advantage, and I think he is capable of using takedowns, as well as stalling against the cage to win at least two out of three rounds on at least two out of three judges’ scorecards for a decision victory. At the current odds, I don’t see any betting value in either fighter for a play, however, I do think there’s a good chance this heavyweight fight reaches the judges’ scorecards for a decision, and at +100, I’ll take a shot. Gabe’s Call: Johnson by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Over 2.5 rounds (+100) Click Here to Make a Donation!
