UFC Fight Night 106’s Josh Burkman: ‘I’m not abandoning what has got me where I’ve gotten’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 106 lightweight Stephen Josh Burkman as he prepares for his preliminary card bout this Saturday (March 11, 2017) against Michel Prazeres in Fortaleza, Brazil.

“My movement is going to put me in the right places to be very accurate with my punches and kicks. And when I throw, they’re going to hit (Prazeres). I think that’s going to make him either press or back off. If you watch a lot of my fights, guys don’t continue to press me for a reason. It’s because when I hit them, I hit them hard, and they know that it’s dangerous. I’m prepared to fight him in the clinch, and if we get into the clinch, I’m going to work to put him against the cage and put him on his back. I’m not abandoning what has got me where I’ve gotten.”
