Your Best Bets for UFC 209’s ‘Fight of the Night’

20161209081530_03_Lando_VannataUFC 209 Date: March 4, 2017 Arena: T-Mobile Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV this Saturday night (March 4, 2017) with UFC 209: Woodley vs. Thompson II. The action-packed fight card is stacked with 11 scheduled bouts that are set to kick off with preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 6:45 p.m. ET. Preliminary action will then continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., with the main card getting underway at 10 p.m. on Pay-Per-View. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available to you at Several Bookmakers. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Vannata/Teymur +450 || 1u to win 4.5u After Nurmagomedov versus Ferguson was removed from the card, this bout was bumped up to co-main event, and I think these 155-pounders are going to deliver. I think there’s a good chance this ends up being an entertaining striking battle, and at the current odds, I think it is worth a play. Vannata is coming off his ‘Knockout of the Year’ win over John Makdessi at UFC 206 back in December and looking to make it two in a row against Teymur, who is coming off back to back T/KO victories and looking to remain undefeated inside the Octagon. Should these two earn the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would be the second time for Vannata and the first for Teymur. Craig/Pedro +775 || 1u to win 7.75u This is a matchup between two undefeated light heavyweight prospects who are 1-0 in the UFC and coming off submission victories in their promotional debuts. I think there is a very good chance that these two produce an entertaining scrap to wrap up the Fight Pass portion of the prelims this evening. Should they manage to take home the bonus, it would be the first time for both fighters. At +775, I think this fight offers the best value on the entire card, as far as the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus is concerned. Morales/Soukhamthath +600 || 1u to win 6u Morales looks to bounce back from the first loss of his professional mixed martial arts career when he takes on promotinal newcomer Soukhamthath in a matchup that has ‘fireworks’ written all over. These two will kick off the UFC 209 fight card and I think there is a very good chance that they will do so on a high note. Much like Craig/Pedro, this is another real sleeper to take home ‘Fight of the Night’ honors this evening. At +600, I think it is worth a shot. 2017 FOTN results: 1-3-1 for +2u Hits: Andrade/Hill (+800) at UFC Fight Night 104 Click Here to Make a Donation!
