Bellator 174 Betting Odds

Bellator 174After the UFC crowned its first women’s featherweight champion last month, Bellator will follow suit this Friday (March 3, 2017) with its latest card at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, OK. The main event at  Bellator 174 will pit Marloes Coenen (23-7) against Julia Budd (9-2), who has reeled off seven consecutive wins since falling to former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey more than five years ago. In fact, Budd’s only two career losses have come versus Rousey and current UFC women’s bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes back in the Strikeforce days. Budd does own a unanimous-decision victory against current UFC women’s featherweight champ Germaine de Randamie sandwiched in between her two losses. Meanwhile, Coenen is coming off a first-round submission loss to Alexis Dufresne at Bellator 155 after previously losing the inaugural Invicta featherweight championship to Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos via fourth-round TKO. The co-main event will see welterweight contender Fernando Gonzalez (25-14) take on Brandon Girtz (14-5) after originally scheduled opponent Andrey Koreshkov had to withdraw due to injury. Gonzalez saw his five-bout winning streak end with a controversial split-decision loss to Michael Page at Bellator 165, and Girtz also suffered a setback in his last fight via unanimous decision to Adam Piccolotti on the same card. Former UFC middleweight Kendall Grove (23-16, 1 No-Contest) will also face promotional newcomer Mike Rhoades (10-4) on the main card after his original foe Chris Honeycutt was removed from the event. Bantamweights Steve Garcia (7-1) and Joe Taimanglo (23-7-1) will kick off the main card, which will be televised on Spike TV.
