Alexander Gustafsson vs. Glover Teixeira slated for the UFC’s return to Stockholm MMAFighting reported Saturday that the UFC is pitting Alexander Gustafsson vs. Glover Teixeira for an event in Stockholm, Sweden on May 28th. Gustafsson (17-4) was slated to fight Teixeira back in June 2015 at UFC Berlin, but he had to pull out of the matchup due to injury. The former UFC title challenger snapped a two-fight losing streak when he defeated Jan Blachowicz via unanimous decision back in September. Teixeira (26-5) is coming off a decision victory over Jared Cannonier earlier this month at UFC 208. Liam McGeary vs. Linton Vassell set for Bellator 179 in London Bellator announced this weekend that former light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary will face Linton Vassell at Bellator 179 on May 19th. McGeary (12-1) defeated Brett McDermott via second-round TKO this past weekend at Bellator 173. This comes after losing his title to Phil Davis back in November in what was his first professional loss. Vassell (10-3) heads into this matchup on a two-fight win streak, including a victory over Francis Carmont back in November. Bellator 173 will take place at the SSE Arena in London, England.
