St-Pierre (25-2) does not currently have a date or opponent booked yet in his return according to the report. However, a “return in the third quarter of 2017” is what’s being looked at. UFC officials declined to comment on this potential deal. The 35-year-old has not completed since a controversial split-decision victory against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 in 2013. Multi-Division WSOF champion David Branch signs with the UFC MMAFighting also reported that former World Series of Fighting light heavyweight and middleweight champion David Branch has signed a new multi-fight contract with the UFC. According to the report, Branch is slated to make his debut in May in the middleweight division. Branch (20-3) heads into the Octagon riding a 10-fight win streak, including a submission victory over Louis Taylor at WSOF 34 in his last fight. The 35-year-old parted ways with the UFC in 2011 after going 2-2 within the organization. Sean Strickland vs. Kamaru Usman added to UFC 210 in Buffalo UFC officials announced that Sean Strickland will take on TUF winner Kamaru Usman at UFC 210 on April 8th. Strickland (18-1) heads into this matchup off a split-decision victory over Tom Breese at UFC 199. The 25-year old has won five of his last six fights. Meanwhile, Usman (9-1) is currently riding an eight-fight win streak, including a unanimous-decision win over Warlley Alves at UFC Fight Night 100 in his last bout.
