UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Date: February 11, 2017 Arena: Barclays Center City: Brooklyn, NY The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Brooklyn, NY for the first time in promotional history with UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie, which will crown the UFC’s inaugral women’s featherweight champion. The 11-fight card is scheduled to get started with UFC Fight Pass prelims at 7pm ET. Preliminary action will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm and the Pay Per View main card will kick off at 10pm. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available to you at Several Bookmakers. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: McCall/Brooks +450 || 1u to win 4.5u I think this is going to be a fun fight in the UFC’s flyweight division, regardless of how long it lasts. I can see it lasting a minute or going all three rounds, and I think we will be in for fireworks either way. As long as it does not end super early, I think this fight will stand a good chance of taking home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, despite being towards the bottom of the preliminary card. McCall is making his return to the Octagon following an extended layoff against short notice promotional newcomer Brooks, who looks to remain undefeat while simultaneously earning the biggest victory of his professional mixed martial arts career. Sould these 125-pounders take home the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would be the third time for McCall will what will be his sixth Octagon appearance, and it would clearly be the first for Brooks. Nover/Glenn +1100 || 1u to win 11u This is the featured bout for the Fight Pass prelims and sees TUF 8 veteran Phillipe Nover look to snap a two-fight losing skid against former WSOF featherweight champion Glenn, who hopes to get his hand raised inside the Octagon for the first time in his career. The crowd will be into this one, as Nover is from Brooklyn and should have crowd support. There is a good chance that this could turn out to be a fun scrap, and considering the +1100 betting line, I see enough value to make it worth my while. Should these featherweights manage to take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, it would be the first time for Nover in what will be his sixth Octagon appearance, while being the second time for Glenn in what will only be his second UFC bout. 2017 FOTN results: 1-1-1 for +5u Biggest Hit of the Year: Andrade/Hill (+800) at UFC on FOX 23
