Bellator 171’s David Rickels: ‘I want one more run at the 155 pound belt’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 171 lightweight David Rickels as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Friday night (January 27, 2017) against Aaron Derrow at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas.

“The biggest advantage he probably has is grappling in some form or another, putting me on the mat, trying to get me there. He’s kind of long in the stand-up. In this fight, I really just feel I’m a lot better in a lot of areas but I can’t feel safe in certain place. I’m training for whatever he’s trying to do… I really feel like I can make one more run at the 155 pound belt and I can’t be losing to guys like Aaron Derrow if I want to do that.”
