480 Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson set for interim 155 title fight at UFC 209  UFC officials announced Thursday that Tony Ferguson will face Khabib Nurmagomedov for the interim lightweight title at UFC 209. With lightweight champion Conor McGregor (21-3) not expected to return to action until mid-2017, the promotion add interim belt to the equation. Ferguson (22-3) heads into this matchup off nine-straight wins including a unanimous decision victory over former lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night 98 this past November. Nurmagomedov (24-0) kept his unbeaten streak in tact at UFC 205 when he submitted Michael Johnson in the third round back in November.   Igor Pokrajac vs. Ed Herman also added to UFC 209 A light heavyweight matchup pitting Igor Pokrajac against Ed Herman will take place at UFC 209 in Las Vegas according to UFC.com Pokrajac (28-13, 1 NC) made an unsuccessful return to the UFC after a close to tw0-year hiatus, where he lost via unanimous decision to  Jan Blachowicz. Prior to that, the Croatian was riding a three-fight win streak. Herman (23-12, 1 NC) heads into this matchup losing two of his past three fights, including a knockout loss to Nikita Krylov at UFC 201. Prior to the loss he earned back-to-back wins over Cole Miller and Masio Fullen. Knight (15-2) has won two-straight fights after dropping his UFC debut to Tatsuya Kawajiri.
