Donald Cerrone vs. Jorge Masvidal set for UFC on FOX 23 MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani reported Wednesday that Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will meet Jorge Masvidal at UFC on FOX 23 in Denver on January 28th. Cerrone (32-1, 1 NC) is coming off a highlight reel knockout victory over Matt Brown this past Saturday at UFC 206. After the matchup, the 33-year old requested to be added to UFC on FOX 23 and his wish was granted. Masvidal (31-11) called out Cerrone after defeating Jake Ellenberger earlier this month at the TUF 24 Finale. The 32-year old is coming off wins over the aforementioned Ellenberger and Ross Pearson. UFC on FOX 23 takes place at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Edson Barboza vs. Beneil Dariush slated for UFC Fight Night 107 UFC officials announced Wednesday that lightweights Edson Barboza and Beniel Darish will clash at UFC Fight Night Fortaleza. Barboza (18-4) heads into this matchup off back-to-back decision victories over Anthony Pettis and Gilbert Melendez. Dariush (14-2) is also on a two-fight win streak, earning victories over James Vick and Rashid Magomedov. UFC Fight Night 107 will takes place at the 17,000-seat Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil on March 11th.
