The 13 fight card is set to kick off with Fight Pass prelims at 3:30pm ET, and prelminary action will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 5pm. The main card will be live on FOX at 8pm. My Fights to AVOID betting are: Welterweight bout bout: Alan Jouban (+115) vs Mike Perry (-135) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is a tough fight for me to call. On paper, Perry should win this fight by T/KO, but I’m going to crumple up the paper and throw it out the window when it comes to this match-up. Anything can happen in this fight, and I am personally rooting for Jouban, although I am a fan of Perry’s, as well. Along with my bias, I have to set my wallet aside for this fight. This will be one I avoid at the sportsbook come Saturday night in Sacramento. Gabe’s Call: Jouban by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-37, 30-37) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Featherweight bout: Cole Miller (+100) vs Mizuto Hirota (-120) Gabe’s Thoughts: I don’t know where Miller’s head will be at when he enters the Octagon on Saturday night to square off against Hirota. I agree with the current betting odds in that this is more of less a coin-flip match-up, especially considering all the behind the scenes drama that’s been going on between Miller and the UFC. He isn’t happy about is current situation and that could show in his performance, which would make me feel very uncomfortable I knew I had money on him. I think this is a classic fight to stay away from, so let’s avoid this one at the sportsbook this weekend.
