Kickboxing promotion GLORY returns tomorrow (Saturday, December 10, 2016) for what has now become a near-monthly event. The show will air live from Oberhausen, Germany. Glory 36 features a heavyweight main event, a middleweight title bout, a lightweight title bout and many more high profile contests. The heavyweight bout features champion Rico Verhoeven against all-time great Badr Hari. Hari (106-12) is one of the most exciting and controversial fighters in kickboxing history, having repeated trouble with the law despite being brilliant between the ropes. Verhoeven (49-10-1) is the deserved slight favorite, having been the Glory Heavyweight Champion for over two years now, successfully defending the title five times, most recently this past September at Glory 33 in New Jersey. The welterweight title bout features champion Nieky Holzken against challenger Cedric Doumbe. Holzken (90-11 1 NC) captured the vacant title last year and has gone 11-0 in Glory to become one of the most dominant fighters on the planet while Doumbe (64-5-1 1 NC) earned his title shot after a nine-fight winning streak including a victory at Glory 28 March. Oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting lines for GLORY 36 today at Several Bookmakers. The card will air on ESPN 3 at 11:00 am ET with the main event airing on UFC Fight Pass at 4:00 pm ET. ——————– Glory 36: Oberhausen Glory: Collision December 10, 2016 König Pilsener Arena Oberhausen, Germany Glory: Collision – PPV on UFC.TV, 4 PM ET Main Event: Badr Hari +100 Rico Verhoeven -140 Welterweight Title: Cedric Doumbe +285 Nieky Holzken -405 Superfight Series – Fight Pass, 1:30 PM ET Michael Duut +125 Danyo Ilunga -165 Women’s GP Semifinal: Jessica Gladstone +650 Tiffany van Soest -1350 Glory 36 Germany – ESPN3, 11 AM ET Lightweight Title: Marat Grigorian +170 Sittichai Sitsongpeenong -230 Lightweight Tournament Finals Mosab Amrani +125 Fabio Pinca -165 ——————– Click below to bet the fights now!
