Live Dogs for UFC Fight Night 102

Trevor SmithUFC Fight Night 102: Lewis vs Abdurakhimov Date: December 9, 2016 Arena: Times Union Center City: Albany, NY The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to Albany, NY for the first time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 102: Lewis vs. Abdurakhimov. The event will feature 12 bouts, all of which will be streaming live on UFC Fight Pass. Preliminary action is set to kick off at 5:45 p.m. (ET) with the main card getting underway at 9 p.m. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakers. Here are my live dogs: Welterweight title bout: Randy Brown (-155) vs Brian Camozzi (+135) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Camozzi is the superior mixed martial artist heading into his Octagon debut and I see him getting the better of Brown in this contest. I like Camozzi’s chances of putting Brown away by either submission or T/KO, however if the fight hits the judges’ scorecards for a decision, I favor him to pick up the nod there, as well. I think he should be a 2-to-1 betting favorite heading into this 170-pound contest, so I see a lot of value in him at his current underdog price-tag of +135. I expect Camozzi to pick up a solid win over Brown and make a quick turnaround on the UFC on FOX in Denver card early next year. Gabe’s Call: Camozzi by Submission (D’Arce choke, 3:14 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Camozzi (+135) 4u to win 5.4u Middleweight bout: Trevor Smith (+185) vs Andrew Sanchez (-225) Gabe’s Thoughts: I expect this fight to turn into a grappling contest, where I believe Smith will get the better of Sanchez. Smith is coming off back to back dominant unanimous decision victories over Dan Miller and Joe Gigliotti and looks to make it three in a row by getting past The Ultimate Fighter season 23 winner Sanchez. Sanchez is coming off a dominant unanimous decision win over Khalil Rountree, and I think this fight against Smith could play out similar to that fight, except he would be Hendricks in this scenario. The Strikeforce veteran is 35 years of age but looks to have Randy Couture Syndrome, as he has been getting better and better from fight to fight. I believe Smith has some good years ahead of him in the UFC’s middleweight division, and I think he continues to stay hot with an impressive victory over Sanchez. Gabe’s Call: Smith by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Smith (+185) 4u to win 7.4u
