Here are my plays: Heavyweight bout: Anthony Hamilton (+415) vs. Francis Ngannou (-525) Gabe’s Thoughts: I see this co-main event heavyweight showdown as a “dog or pass” situation in which I am ultimately opting to pass on playing the underdog. I do agree with Ngannou being a big favorite, but I think he is being overvalued at his current offering price of -525. I think the veteran Hamilton holds value at his current massive underdog price of +415, and I cannot fault anybody for taking a stab on him. Personally, I am able to pull the trigger, as I favor Ngannou to stop him in this contest. I think Ngannou wins this fight within the first seven and a half minutes of action, most likely in the opening stanza, so I really like the Total of Under 1.5 rounds at -175 a lot more than Ngannou at -525, so I will be pulling the trigger on that. Gabe’s Call: Ngannou by T/KO (punch, 0:32 round 1) Women’s Strawweight bout: Justine Kish (-230) vs .Ashley Yoder (+190) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Kish is the superior striker heading into this women’s 115-pound contest, and I see her finding success in keeping this fight on the feet and out-striking Yoder for the majority of 15 minutes of action to pick up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think she should be a 2-to-1 betting favorite in this spot, so while I see her getting her hand raised, I don’t see any betting value in her at her current offering price of -230. However, I do think the Total of Over 2.5 rounds at -210 holds a lot of value, as I see this fight hitting the judges’ scorecards for a decision more often than not. Gabe’s Call: Kish by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommeded Parlay: Under 1.5 rounds (-175) and Over 2.5 rounds (-210) at +131 3u to win 3.95u
