The UFC just keeps on coming as 2016 comes to a close. After having a multi-event day just two weeks ago, the promotion is holding events on consecutive days next week with UFC Fight Night 102 taking place on Friday, December 9th, 2016 in Albany, New York and then followed by UFC 206 the next day on December 10th just across the border in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The UFC Albany event is headlined by a heavyweight battle between surging Derrick Lewis and talented striker Shamil Abdurakhimov. Another heavyweight bout is booked in the co-main event as top prospect Francis Ngannou takes on veteran Anthony Hamilton. For UFC 206, the original main event may be cancelled due to champion Daniel Cormier’s injury, but the promotion found a suitable replacement with a thrilling featherweight interim title bout between top contenders Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis. Also on tap will be a thrilling welterweight war between Donald Cerrone and Matt Brown as well as an exciting featherweight contest between knockout artists Doo Ho Choi and Cub Swanson.
