Live Dogs for Bellator 166

Joe WarrenBELLATOR 166: DANTAS VS WARREN II Date: December 2, 2016 Arena: WinStar World Casino and Resort City: Thackerville, OK Bellator 166: Dantas vs Warren II will be live from Thackerville, OK this Friday night on SpikeTV at 9pm ET, with preliminary action preceding it on the promotion’s channel at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakers. Here are my live dogs: Bantamweight title bout: Eduardo Dantas (-210) vs Joe Warren (+175) Gabe’s Thoughts: I expect this rematch to play out similar to their second meeting, where Warren used his superior wrestling skills to outgrapple the Brazilian for a unanimoius decision victory on the judges’ scorecards following five rounds of main event action. I think Warren’s wrestling will again be the difference here and I see him getting his hand raised to reclaim his gold. Gabe’s Call: Warren by Unanimous Decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Warren (+175) 2u to win 3.5u Welterweight bout: Chris Honeycutt (-240) vs Ben Reiter (+200) Gabe’s Thoughts: I agree with Honeycutt being the betting favorite in this 170-pound contest, as he will likely use his superior wrestling to grind out a decision win here, however I don’t agree with his current offering price of -240, because I think this match-up is closer than those odds suggest. At 2-to-1 underdog odds, I think there is value to be had with Long Island’s Reiter. The New York fighter is 3-1 under the Bellator banner and will be looking to pick up the biggest win of his career by taking out Honeycutt. I do believe Honeycutt is the better fighter of the two here but at the current odds, I like a stab on the dog. Gabe’s Call: Honeycutt by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Reiter (+200) 1u to win 2u
