480UFC reschedules Anaheim event; UFC 209 becomes UFC 208 UFC officials announced Thursday that the scheduled Jan. 21 PPV event in Anaheim (UFC 208) has been rescheduled for Aug. 5. The original date was slated to go up against Bellator’s Tito Ortiz vs. Chael Sonnen headliner at the Forum in Inglewood, CA. As a result, the Feb. 11 card in Brooklyn (UFC 209) will officially become UFC 208 and subsequently the Las Vegas card on March 4 expected to  is now UFC 209 (instead of UFC 210)   Tonya Evinger wins appeal with Missouri commission and remains Invicta FC champion Tonya Evinger submission loss to Yana Kunitskaya has be overturned to a “No Contest” MMAFighting confirmed on Thursday. Evinger (18-5 NC) will now remain the Invicta 135-pound champion. At Invicta 20, Kunitskaya submitted Evinger by first-round armbar. Immediately following the fight, Evinger appealed to the Missouri commission, because referee Mike England wrongly told her to change positions while she was in the submission. Evinger stated her case to Missouri commission that England telling her to move forced her to get into a more disadvantageous position, leading her to having no choice but to tap.
