TUF 24 Finale Date: December 3, 2016 Arena: The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back at The Pearl at Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas for The Ultimate Fighter Season 24 Finale. The 12-fight card is scheduled to kick off with prelminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm, and prelims will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm and culminate with the main card on the same channel at 10pm. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakers. My Fights to AVOID betting are: Women’s Bantamweight bout bout: Alexis Davis (+158) vs Sara McMann (-180) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think McMann grinds out a decision here but so no betting value in either fighter at the current odds, nor do I see value in the Total of Over 2.5 rounds at -240. I think this women’s 135-pound affair is best left avoiding at the sportsbooks this weekend. Gabe’s Call: McMann by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 20-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Flyweight bout: Ryan Benoit (+100) vs Brandon Moreno (-120) Gabe’s Thoughts: Moreno got the short notice call and made the most of it with a first round guillotine choke victory over Louis Smolka, and he will aim to make it two in a row for himself inside the Octagon with a victory over Benoit in this contest. Coming off a split decision victory over Fredy Serrano, Benoit looks to do the same. This should be a fun scrap in the UFC’s 125-pound division and I am in complete agreement with the betting odds in that this is a very even fight. There was a bit of betting value on Benoit at his opening price of +135 however at the current odds there’s no value for a wager here. Ultimately, I think this is a scrap that is worth skipping at the sportsbook this weekend. Gabe’s Call: Benoit by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
