Davis talks about fighting Joe Warren with a torn ACL and Thanksgiving dinner:
“(The knee injury) was kind of like a wake-up call. It lets you know that we’re not machines, and we’ve got to listen to our bodies more. Now I’m able to slow things down and take time off when I need to. I do my own type of mental training. Self-belief is everything — if you believe it, you can achieve it. So it starts with your mind.”
