Bellator 165’s Carrington Banks: ‘If I focus on what I’m doing, then it doesn’t matter what (Jake Roberts is) doing’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 165 lightweight Carrington Banks as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout this Saturday night (November 19, 2016) against Jake Roberts at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Banks talks about training with the Blackzilians and his opponent Roberts:

“I put in all the work well before I even knew I was going to be fighting (Roberts). So now, at this point, it’s making sure that I’m healthy, making sure that I feel comfortable with everything that I’m going to execute going into the fight. I think he’s probably planning the same way he always plans. He seems like he’s a little tough, he seems like he’s got a little heart. I assume that’s what he’s going to bring to the table. But I focus on me, what I’m going to do. If I focus on what I’m doing, then it doesn’t matter what he’s doing.”
